      Beginner forklift training courses are available 6 days per week at locations all over Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, and Perth. All courses are conducted by experienced, friendly and approved RTO trainers and assessors to help you obtain a nationally recognised forklift licence (LF). Students will receive comprehensive training in state of the art training centres in all aspects of forklift operation. At the completion of forklift training, all students shall be competent and safe forklift drivers.
    • Experienced Courses

      This forklift training course is designed for students who have previous forklift operation experience. RTO's will be able to provide you with advice as to the course most suited to your experience. (If in doubt, please call your local RTO) The course consists of both theory and practical training including assessment to obtain a nationally recognised forklift licence (LF). After successful completion of the assessment, students will be issued with an interim Forklift Licence to Perform High Risk Work.

      Refresher courses are available for certified operators and companies who are interested in keeping their staff skills up to date, and their workplace to a standard required by law. Courses conducted by RTO's are specifically tailored with your goals in mind. All forklift training refresher courses cover basic and advanced forklift operator techniques.       Onsite forklift training is available throughout Australia for inexperienced operators in preparation for their forklift licence assessment to experienced operators who require refresher training.     In order to be issued with a forklift licence, students are required to complete a forklift training course and pass a theory and practical test. Upon successful completion of assessment, students are issued with a Notice of Assessment (NOA) allowing them to operate a forklift. However, holders of a NOA are required to apply with the relevant licensing body for a licence within 60 days.

    Forklift Licence – Course Details

    Courses are designed so that trainers and assessors will explain in simple language, everything you need to know about forklifts. Good RTO’s employ industry experts who will make sure you feel confident operating a forklift. As operating a forklift is considered High Risk Work, qualified assessors and trainers will take time to make sure you have the skills to safely operate a forklift in the workplace.

    After successful completion of training and assessment, students will be issued with a Notice of Assessment. This temporary licence allows holders to begin operating a forklift at work. It is important to note that holders of a NOA have 60 days from the time of issuance to apply for a licence with the governing body in their state.
