In order to be issued with a forklift licence, students are required to complete a forklift training course and pass a theory and practical test. Upon successful completion of assessment, students are issued with a Notice of Assessment (NOA) allowing them to operate a forklift. However, holders of a NOA are required to apply with the relevant licensing body for a licence within 60 days.

Forklift Licence – Course Details
Courses are designed so that trainers and assessors will explain in simple language, everything you need to know about forklifts. Good RTO’s employ industry experts who will make sure you feel confident operating a forklift. As operating a forklift is considered High Risk Work, qualified assessors and trainers will take time to make sure you have the skills to safely operate a forklift in the workplace.
After successful completion of training and assessment, students will be issued with a Notice of Assessment. This temporary licence allows holders to begin operating a forklift at work. It is important to note that holders of a NOA have 60 days from the time of issuance to apply for a licence with the governing body in their state.
